HomeBRU’d Session: Tai Chi Funk Squad

Bringing their loud funky rhythms into the station, Tai Chi Funk Squad performed three of their explosive tunes for us during this HomeBRU’d Session. Based out of Johnston, Rhode Island,  Jake Anderson’s dynamic range on vocals and mesmerizing guitar solos blend in perfectly with Joe Z’s groovy bass lines all while Pat O’Brien keeps a rhythmic funky beat demonstrating that funk is in fact not dead. Tai Chi Funk Squad just released their debut album, “The Chronix of Gnarlia”, which is available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and Soundcloud.
