Rock Hunt 2015 finalist, We Were Astronauts, is next up on the WBRU Dunkin Donuts Summer Concert Series stage, but you don’t have to wait ’till then to see them: they came in for a HomeBRU’d session, and we have the video for you. The band is a lot of fun–they’re high energy but easygoing, and they balance their shenanigans with rock-solid songs that rest on strong musicianship and harmonic sensibility. The last time they came into the station, they went acoustic with no drums; this time around, they had a full band! They also–possibly their most impressive accomplishment of the night–managed to wrangle themselves into completing 5 in 95 in record time.
