We are plotting to set a new Guinness Book World record for tree-hugging on Saturday, April 25th at Roger Williams Park!
Starting at 8:30 AM teams of volunteers will be cleaning up parks and planting trees all around the city of Providence. All volunteers will get Spring Cleaning buttons good for lots of free stuff including free snacks at the clean-ups, free rides on RIPTA that weekend and free admission to the WBRU Earth Day Concert with The Wombats on Saturday night at the Met.
The tree hugging world record attempt starts at 1 pm. And you might see a Wombat hugging a tree! The band will be hugging trees and meeting volunteers with the Brew Crew!
