Upon hearing that Catfish & the Bottlemen covered Kanye West, your initial reaction was probably something along the lines of “WTF,” but we can assure you that the Welsh band, best known for their track “Kathleen,” made it work. With frontman Van McCann’s thunderous vocals, the band’s rendition of “Black Skinhead” sounds more like a track from the Strokes rather than the (in)famous West. Throughout the cover, they even managed to seamlessly mash up West’s “Black Skinhead” with the Black Keys’ “Howlin’ for You” and Kasabian’s “Shoot the Runner” to produce an impressively cohesive track you’ll have on repeat.
