Home BRU’d Sessions: War Games

Kyle, Andy, and Matt of the Westport, Mass-based band War Games came in to the studio this week to do an acoustic set of their normally hard rocking music, and the results were incredible. Kyle belted out three songs, including one particularly heart-melting love ballad just in time for Valentine’s Day with Matt playing guitar along side him. Though Andy’s bass and “big, loud voice” as he says, didn’t quite fit with the acoustic “sound”, all three of them had an amazing, palpable energy during the interview. It was apparent that not only are they very talented musicians, but they also get along extremely well—with Andy and Matt getting quite cuddly on our couch before the session. Be sure to go to their March 6^th concert at the Met with Sic Vita, The Varsity Club, and Northernmost. This show will double as their record release and UK tour kickoff. Definitely not a show to skip!! Doors open at 7pm, show at 8pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.
