The Viennagram rolled up to the station last week in a van full of purple streamers, amps, hats, and some crazy facial hair. After passing out their swag (stickers! Pins! T-shirts!) and putting up a “Viennagram” backdrop, they launched into a high energy performance unlike anything our studio has ever seen. The band stuck to their self-described psychedelic space punk sound, interspersed with theatrical monologues, pantomimed hair combing, and a fake rat—seriously, you have to see it to believe it. Luckily, we recorded it all for you: check out the live performance and interview below and stay tuned for their new album, which drops on Halloween. Buy tickets to their upcoming concert album release party, featuring The Sugar Honey Iced Tea and Ravi Shavi, at Columbus Theater on 10/31. Doors open at 8, show starts at 9. $10 in advance, $12 at the door. Buy your tickets here. Songs:   Interview:
