Broncho- Class Historian Does this sound like the beginning of Spoon’s “Do You” to you too? Ages & Ages- Divisionary I saw them perform this at a small scale show during Newport Folk. The lead singer was on stage and the rest of the band started singing from the audience where they were waiting unbeknownst to the rest of us. I’ve never in my life felt more like I was living in a Disney musical. White Arrows- We Can’t Ever Die  Boasting remix collaborations with the like of Alex Ebert (of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros) and the Local Natives, we should all be excited for their sophomore album, In Bardo. Set to be released this September! Twin Peaks – Flavor The lyrics are “Flavor your heart and your soul.” The album is called Wild Onion. I wonder what kind of person someone with a wild-onion flavored soul would be… Desert Noises- Out of My Head I found Desert Noises’ stage at Lollapalooza by chance. I had practically no prior exposure to them beforehand, but I was completely blown away. They gave such a great show, looked entirely stoked to be there, and sounded fantastic. Stamp of approval: Earned! The New Pornographers- War on the East Coast Their first album in four years comes out in four days! Band leader, A.C. Newman, had this to say about the album, “After periods of difficulty, I am at a place where nothing in my life is dragging me down and the music reflects that.” We’re stoked to hear what that sounds like.
