Interpol may have taken a few years hiatus before releasing their upcoming album, El Pintor, but as Sam discusses in his interview with WBRU, they kept busy.
Interpol’s fearless drummer, Sam Fogarino, called the station to chat about the new dynamic of the band now that previous keyboardist and bassist, Carlos Dengler, has left. He also talked about what it was like working with, and twerking with, the famed James Brown (not the “Night Train” James Brown, but the producer of the Arctic Monkeys, My Bloody Valentine, Foo Fighters, and many others.) Oh, and yes, you did read twerking correctly.

El Pintor comes out on September 9th, but you can hear the single, “All The Rage Back Home” now!
Catch Interpol when they play the Boston House of Blues on November 21st!
