American noise pop duo from Brooklyn, New York, Sleigh Bells, visited us in Providence earlier this week for an awesome show at Fête!
Derek E. Miller rocked guitars with Alexis Krauss on vocals. The duo also travel with a drummer and a second guitarist, helping fill out their sound and create a great, dynamic live set. The group had 8 marshall stacks helping their sound as well! Each of which is “big enough to blow your face off,” according to a technical music source here at BRU.
The duo known as Sleigh Bells formed in 2008 and released their third studio album, Bitter Rivals, this fall. Their pop-electronic songs are catchy yet versatile, perhaps why they can be caught in numerous television shows such as Gossip Girl, Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23, and More!
The group is rumored to already be working on album four—we can’t wait to see what they come up with!
