This just in: Foster the People set to release anticipated new album, Supermodel, on March 18 through Columbia Records.
Supermodel is produced by Paul Epworth and is the follow-up album to the groups 2011 debut, Torches. The band will launch the album alongside a US tour that begins on Friday, May 9 at the House of Blues Boston (lucky for us!).
The awaited album was recorded in various locations around the globe and began when Epworth and band frontman Mark Foster set up a writing studio in Morocco at the end of 2012. After it’s Moroccan birthplace, Supermodel traveled and developed with the band through Malibu and LA and was finished in London.
Pre-order the album now and get an instant download of the album’s first single “Coming of Age.” Or check out the song here, with a video documenting the creation of an LA mural inspired by the new album!
Looks great and sounds greater! We can’t wait for what’s sure to be a hit of a second album for Foster the People!
