Screen shot 2013-01-26 at 3.33.24 PM Up-and-coming group Churchill has just released a video for their hit single “Change.” The song propelled the group to fame– remaining iTunes’ single of the week 2 weeks in a row and prompting Esquire Magazine to call Churchill an “Artist to Watch in 2013.” We couldn’t agree more here at WBRU, and if you missed the band last week at our First Contact concert with them, make sure you check out their video below, because they are quite the performers. The video for “Change” has a simple premise but is visually stimulating and entertaining throughout. Each member of the band goes through a million outfit/hairstyle/makeup (for lead singer and only female Bethany Kelly) changes while split screens put the body parts of different members together. The band members are surprisingly synchronized and the video as a whole is cohesive and enjoyable. Churchill is on tour now and we will definitely both see and hear more of them this year at WBRU.
