New Single from Coheed and Cambria February 5th

Good to hear something from Nyack, New York’s very own Coheed and Cambria. Interestingly enough, all of the band’s albums are concept albums that chronicle a science fiction series by Claudio Sanchez called The Amory Wars. Their upcoming album, which will be the seventh for the band, is to be called The Afterman: Descension. The lead single off the new upcoming album is called “Dark Side of Me,” and will be released February 5th, so be sure to keep listening for it! The frontman, and author of the overarching series which inspires all of the band’s albums, Claudio Sanchez said of the song “”Dark Side of Me is a song about the duality of human nature…it’s natural to try to hide the more sinister facets of ourselves from the people we care about, but to ever truly share a life with another person, that dark side needs to make its way out into the open.” The release of the single also marks the beginning of their US tour which will be hitting all over.
