Now I know what you are thinking: “Yeasayer isn’t new, so why the need to expose them?”  Well, although Yeasayer may have been around for a good six years, they are only finally picking up speed now.  Lovers of soccer (excuse me, of fútbol) will recognize their hit single “O.N.E.” from the FIFA 11 Soundtrack.  With some ethereal, poppy vocals by Chris Keating backed up by some psychedelic beats, Yeasayer is definitely the band to be watching right now as they continue their tour across North America.  During their tour they have already played three new songs which have yet to be studio recorded and released to the public.  Those three are: 1. “Devil and the Deed” which they played when they were guests on Conan O’Brien, 2. “Demon Road,” and 3. “Henrietta,” both of which they played at live shows for their adoring fans. There is apparently buzz that “Henrietta” will be released for our yearning ears to hear quite soon, but for now, as summer is in session for most and on its way for others, let’s have a little love on the blogosphere.  This is the Official Music Video for the song “I Remember” off of Yeasayer’s 2010 Odd Blood LP, released as a single with the video on Valentine’s Day of this year.
