But the Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter is good for more than just an incredibly beautiful and relatable song, his exquisite vocals and alluring lyrics mixed with his interesting music compositions are present in all of his songs, though in my opinion are particularly noticeable in “Eyes Wide Open,” “Smoke and Mirrors,” “I Feel Better,” and “Bronte.”
Though only recently receiving international prominence, the 31 year old artist has been making music for more than a decade. His first album, “Boardface,” which draws primarily on sampling, was released in 2003, and his second album, “Like Drawing Blood,” which features more of his own style, was released in 2006.
Now, for those of you who wish to see him in concert, he is playing in Boston on March 29th at the House of Blues. Unfortunately, that show along with the rest of his North American tour dates, save the Pease Auditorium at Eastern Michigan University on April 2, 2012, have been sold out.
