Another One Down
Started in late 2014 with one goal: to create music that mixes pop-punk and hardcore together. Since 2015, the band has played at shows all throughout Providence. At their first show at Simons 677, they won a battle of the bands that landed them a seat to open for Vanna. Their first EP, “Take on the World” was recorded in September with Chris Piquette of local band Trophy Wives, and since its release in December, the band has spread their fan base across the country. The band’s biggest accomplishment so far has been playing Lupo’s and grossing 2,000 views on their video for “Anchored Down.”Bird Love*
Bochek
Formed in February 2012, Bochek began as a cover band, playing at venues all around Tiverton, Fall River, and Providence. They began to write their own original music in 2014 and recorded a short EP in July of 2015. They have headlined at the Met and The Spot Underground. They are influenced by genres such as Alternative Rock, RNB, Jazz, and Raggae.Downtown at Dawn
Downtown at Dawn formed in 2015 and has played gigs in at the Dusk in Providence, and in Pawtucket, News Cafe.Edgar Clinks
Edgar Clinks started as a solo project when he made an album in March of last year. He got a live band to play a bunch of shows around NYC and recorded an EP that summer. In September, he moved back to Providence where he wrote a new EP, played gigs around RI and Mass, and recorded that EP in Philadelphia.Eric and The Nothing
Eric and The Nothing are previous Home Bru’d performers. They’ve been playing out extensively both locally and non-locally. They have shared the stage with Atlantic Thrills and more. The currently have one 4 song EP and another one in the works.Hip Bobsha
Hip Bobsha was formed in the summer of 2000. They have been playing shows in RI and New England for the last 15 years on and off between periods of child rearing and recording. Their first official release, “Evolution” was recorded over the last four years and represents a combination of their own live sound and songwriting abilities. They continue to play shows, add more songs to their extensive catalog and plan on recording a new album soon.Jets Can’t Land
Jets Can’t Land formed in Spring 2014 as a side project for members of Galvanize, Six Star General, and Sharks Come Crusin! Their first show was in June 2014 and have played 20+ shows since then. They play at The Parlour, Fire House 13, Dusk, The Met, What Cheer Records, News Cafes, Fusion Fest, the Spot Underground/Jimmy in Newport.Offbeat Motif
Formed in 2012 by John Hanson with hometown friends to play local pubs and morphed into all original project with alternative rock and blues themes, pop-sensibility and a unique sound. They’ve grown and played Spot Underground in Providence, The Middle East in Cambridge, Copperfields’, Hard Rock Cafe in Boston and many other places. Their first release was in April 2015. They have been featured on WBRU’s Home Bru’d as Artist of the Week in June 2015. They are recording a new album with Phil Green at Triad in Warren, RI.PALS
PALS entered the scene in 2013. They have three releases. “Reach EP,” Neapolitan, and PALS LIVE which includes songs from their WBRU Session. They have recently started recording at Converse Studios. They have played shows with Jetty, Roz and the Rice Cakkes, Forrest Fires, Stilts, and more. They have played everywhere in New England including Liberty Fest.Sidecar
Sidecar started off as a two-piece band formed in 2012, but during the past 5 months, Sidecar has expanded to a three-piece band featuring two lead singers. The have played shows at the URI Strike a Chord Concert, the Swamp Yankee Festival, and coffee shops. Their style consists of pop, folk, and rock elements. Their most recent single is available on iTunes, Spotify and anywhere music is distributed digitally.Silverteeth
RI native Bill Bartholomew and Brazilian bassist Gabriela Rassi formed Silverteeth in Brooklyn, NY in 2014. They were recently named Best Emerging Artist by The Deli Magazine. They recorded at Converse Rubber Tracks, a month-long residency at NYC’s Ace Hotel, and just completed tours of the east coast of the US and Brazil. They are now in the midst of recording their debut record. The band has spent a considerable time in Providence and Newport, included sessions at the Columbus theater, and the band made their official move from NYC to RI last April.Six Ten Connector
Six Ten Connector formed in 2010. They are presently residing in the Rhode Island/Boston area. They are an original hard-rock band. They play throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Their most recent shows have been at the Dusk, the Fatt Squirrel and Ralph’s Diner in Worcester. They currently have a 6 song EP, released in 2014.Southpier
Formed in 2013, Southpier released their debut EP “Wake Up Call” in July 2014. They were a 2015 Rock Hunt Semifinalist. In the summer of 2015, they released their split EP. Two of the five original members have returned from hiatus and reformed with two new members of the band in November 2015. They are about to release a new single.The Little Compton Band
The Little Compton Band is a Rhode Island based roots rock band of five, since 2007. Their influences include the Allman Brothers Band, The Band, Little Feet, Bruce Hornsby, and many others. This year, they’ve released our second full-length album, Jalapeño Sky. Other recent successes include being nominated Best in State by the New England Music Awards. Highlight gigs from 2015 include our Thursday night residency at The Newport Blues Café, performing at Fort Adams Aqua Fest, Head lining Gratitude Harvest Fest, and our earth shaking, culture shifting,100% organic, green house album release party.The Kick Ups
The Kick Ups formed in 2013. They’ve played shows all around Providence including The Met, The Parlour, Firehouse 13, and various other venues. They have a working relationship with Triad Recording Studios based out of New Bedford and Warren. They have recorded their own demo tracks and plan to record a professionally produced EP soon.Young Lincoln
